New Starry Set
I picture a girly girl who loves to dream wearing this set! Available at Miss Val’s Creations.
The Butterfly Place
There is an enchanting place in Westford, MA called The Butterfly Place. Jim and I went to this indoor garden with fluttering butterflies!
I just got a new camera in December and only know how to take pictures of jewelry with it so many of the photos are not as focused as I would have liked! I should have read the manual before going!!!
Well fed, chubby birds also live in here.
This place is opened seasonally and just reopened Valentine’s Day so the garden is very young.
It closes again on Halloween so by then the foliage will be huge!
This photo looks disgusting. The butterflies are provided with rotting veggies to munch on.
It amazes me how insects can be upside down like this!
The orange ones were crazy active so they were very difficult to photograph!
There is a pond with some colorful, mean looking fish in here.
This blue guy fluttering had a death wish. He was egging on the fish by swooping down and touching the water and you could see that the fish wanted him for dinner!

Silly little guy!
Thank you for stopping by! I always love reading all of your comments. :-) ~Val

Everyday Inspired
I love butterflies! your pictures are great and your little guy Emmett looks very mysterious! photography is addicting so I am sure you will get hooked up!
ReplyDeleteI went to my sister's baby shower yesterday and wore the earrings I won at your giveaway :)
The colors in that jewelry set are beautiful, you always do such nice work. :) That butterfly place sounds wonderful. Last year we went to the Boston Science Museum and visited their butterfly exhibit, it was like another world. Wandering around, waiting for the privilege of a butterfly landing on your shoulder, or perhaps your head. ;) The place you visited looks much more beautiful, perhaps we'll have to check it out sometime. :) Oh, and great shot of the cat!!
ReplyDeleteYour jewelry is fantastic ! So wonderful artwork ! Great. The butterflies are also lovely.
ReplyDeleteKind regards, Synnöve
Val, that indoor garden is a dream, I love it...what a nice place to visit during the winter time.
ReplyDeleteThis new necklace set of yours is a favorite of mine, love the colors, very beautiful.
I'll keep my fingers crossed as well, as little or no snow if possible. Disappointing to say the least, after all the lovely weather we've had.

Oh my goodness Val, I used to live near Westford (in Boxborough) when I lived in MA. The Butterfly Place was not there then though.
