Key Chains
I added a new item to my inventory.
This is a beadable key chain. The ball end screws off on 1 side to slide on keys. The the opposite ball as a loop for adding dangles. Really cute key rings can be made with these! Available at Etsy. Also in gold.
Baby Quilts and Books
So I am going to a baby shower with an invite that read to bring a baby book an lieu of a card. So off to Etsy I went. Here is the book I got from Baby Quilts and Books on Etsy.
What I love about this is she will be able to grasp the cloth pages at an early age. It can be machine washed so drool away!
This shop has a variety of these adorable books like Mickey Mouse.
Winnie the Pooh.
Baby animals.
This shop also has the cutest baby quilts.
Also raggedy flannel quilts. I just love Tinkerbell.
Cute raggedy burp cloths too. Loony Tunes brings me back to my childhood! Gotta love a super violent cartoon (as well as all the other inappropriateness included) with classical music playing along. Cartoons are so different today.
So stop by Baby Quilts and Books next time you are looking for an adorable handmade baby gift.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you all have a great week! ~Val
nice key chain - great idea to be able to personalize it! I love the baby book - my kids loved eating them about as much as they liked hearing us read to them - ha! it's perfect!
ReplyDeleteCute idea for a keychain!
ReplyDeleteThose fabric baby books are great! I once made a similar one for a friend's baby - instead of the pictures it had padded motifs, kind of 3D effect, which the baby can touch and grab :)
I love this key ring, Val. It's a beautifully simple design.
ReplyDeleteA lot less bulky than the one I'm carrying, for sure.

Everyday Inspired
My mom, the retired librarian, would totally approve! Love the twist on the baby shower gifts. I'm attending one this weekend. We have to bring a baby photo of ourselves and I also sewed a baby blanket. I'll be sure to take pictures. :-)
