Virginia Hylton Park
Virginia Hylton Park is located in our new downtown of Lexington, SC.
There are paved walkways in a wooded area so it can be enjoyed even when wet out.
There are darling nooks for picnic lunches.
There is a deep gorge with the sounds of water falling.
There is a cool playground for the kiddos.
We are looking forward to strolling here during the spring and summer months when there will be many more pretties blooming.
This unexpected little gem is behind the police station and town offices. I love seeing nature preserved like this instead of ripped out for development.
There is supposed to be a koi pond too but my guess is the little guys didn't make it!
We are having fun getting out and exploring our new town and surrounding areas.
