Here are our Japanese maple tree leaves that fell on our deck steps.
This last one is a deck post cap. It looks like it needs a shave.
Such beauty in nature.
I hope you enjoyed these photos. It is January and there are still blooms on our knockout roses!
Thank you for stopping by! ~Val
wow, Jim caught some beautiful images. They are amazing but especially the deck post cap - I could see that hanging on a wall - especially likein a "minimalist house" . I look at your profile photo and you look like someone I have recently seen on TV but can't quite pinpoint who - an actress I have seen several times. It will come to me eventually, lol. The higher mountain towns will get snow tonight - not sure if we will - we are at about 5000 altitude.
ReplyDeleteFrost is one of nature's most beautiful garnishes!
ReplyDeleteThere is great beauty in nature and Jim captured it so well.
ReplyDeleteA lovely series of photographs.
All the best Jan

Gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteHope you're well Val, I've been MIA for a while but I'm hoping to get back to blogging this year. I can see from your photo you've grown all the colour out now. Me too! Isn't it great to not have to worry about grey roots showing and dying your hair every few weeks :D I just need to update my photo now.
okay, back to say, again you look like someone I have seen on TV - especially with this new photo - ...who are you, lol?? ! Some day the name will pop in my mind.
ReplyDeleteLOL! People always tell me I look like someone they know. It is funny! My husband says my new profile photo doesn't look like me. So I need to work on a better on. Selfies are not my thing!
DeleteI think it's a good pic - i would leave it - I haven't taken a good pic in years so I usually put up anything but a selfie. I'm going to figure it out today. I'm taking a walk around the lake in a bit and i'll ask the little old woman that lives in amongst the file cabinets in my brain to go and look up a file of people I know who like like celebrities. I'll be back with an answer later, lol.
ReplyDeleteQue lindas!
ReplyDeleteDevem ser maravilhosas de se ver.

São lindas. Feliz fim de semana. Beijinho.
ReplyDeleteI give up, lol.
ReplyDeleteLoL! It will come to you when you least expect it.
Deleteyes. I wanted to say the sister of the guy who played in the series "Rectify" - Abigail Spencer... and it is kind of who I thought but yet... there is someone else also. I was out walking the lake when her face came to me.
DeleteOh I know who you mean. Thank you for the compliment. We watched seasons 1 and 2 of Rectify. Great show although I don't know why we stopped watching it. We tend to get side tracked since there are always new shows coming out.
Deletehave a good day:)
ReplyDeleteHe has a great eye for creatively! Other than shooting a wedding I have not really pulled out a camera (other than my cell phone camera) to take many pics. Sometime life throws you curve balls and you lose the desire to do things. I need to get back at it. Grab a camera, one dog at a time and go on an adventure....
ReplyDeleteThose roses covered with frost are so beautiful. Jim really managed to catch their beauty on camera. Nature can be so magical during winter.
