There is a large tree I adore in our downtown of Lexington, SC.
Why do I love it so?
It is covered in Spanish moss!
Here I am to show size.
It commands looking up from underneath.
I hope you enjoyed this whimsically covered tree!
Thank you for stopping by! ~Val
^Grande e bonita!

Oh my gosh...I love everything about it....size, shape and moss. Great find. I love older trees that have their own look and shape. Thanks for sharing. In reply to your comment on my blog, I always grow my tomatoes in pots. I use a really good potting soil, like Miracle Grow. Matter of fact, I grow plants and flowers in pots and sit them around in the flower garden. Easier keeping the weeds out of the actual plant that way.
ReplyDeleteTodo es genial! Tu blog es precioso, espero verte pronto por mi blog y saber tu opinión en mi último post! Feliz día! 💛💛💛
ReplyDeleteAmazing tree :)
ReplyDeleteThe look from underneath is WOW. Great!
ReplyDeleteSpanish Moss is certainly something we don't have in Canada!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous tree, I love the moss too! It is incredible and your photos of it are lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a magnificent tree! It's impressive not only in size, but in shape as well. The Spanish Moss nestled on its branches looks lovely too. If you didn't point it out, I would have thought it was the part of the tree. I haven't seen Spanish Moss before, I had to google it to see what kind of plant is it. Now I realize that I must have seen it before, just didn't know what it is. I love the house behind the tree too, so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat is a huge, beautiful tree! I see you've made some changes to your blog. And you hair has grown - I'm growing mine out as well :) I've been away too long!
ReplyDeletehave a lovely day!
ReplyDeletewow it looks amazing;)
ReplyDeleteOh Val, that moss is so gracious and beautiful -- and I suppose, in the dark, a wee bit scary too! I love how it seems to move.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen one in person. That is huge - ...The redwoods out in California are huge and I had the pleasure finally in my life of walking through a Redwood forest in Northern California last May when I took a road trip from So Cal to Northern California and Oregon. It was great.
ReplyDeleteIt's a fabulous tree, and I do like how you've photographed it.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a lovely April - the days and weeks go by so quickly.
All the best Jan
