This is a random collection of tree bark photos from our walks. My favorites are the camouflage looking trees.
Many of these were taken during winter. A few of the trees have seen better days.
This one below is the crepe myrtle in our front yard.
This last one is covered bark but I love the whimsical fuzz of the vines growing up the trees here. I know vines are not good for the trees but they need to grow too.

DeleteI love the last shot with the vines growing up. Wonderful tree trunks. I like the camouflage trees, I even learned how to paint them but I need more practice. Nature is the best inspiration.

DeleteThat fuzzy one really is quite strange! There is one near to my home with spikes all over the trunk. I find it quite scary!
