I
noticed that I did not have a snowflake obsidian eyeglass chain in my shop with
gold accents (only the silver). This is one of my more popular selling stones.
I do wonder if the people who name some gemstones are doing drugs when they
come up with the names. I have yet to see any “snowflakes” in this stone! Available at Miss Val’s Creations.
Boston
Boston
is such a great city. Here are some random photos from the last couple of times
Jim and I went into the city.
This
macaroni was street art placed in front of Quincy Market. Who
doesn’t love mac n cheese?
This
covered walkway is along the harbor. It is a great place to sit out and watch
the action, listen to street musicians, etc.
This
is the Old State House full of history. It was built in 1713 and is now a
museum.
Behind
this fountain in the Boston Public Garden is the new State House which is in use today.
This
photo was taken from the Garden. This is where super rich Bostonians live (the
Beacon Hill neighborhood). A few of the former residents of that neighborhood
include Louisa May Alcott, Robert Frost, and Senator John Kerry. The water
gushing off to the side is from a water park in the Garden for the kids to play
in!
I
just love the architecture of the brownstones. Many date back to the 1800s.
I
love the windows on this structure that look like portals on a cruise ship!
This
temple is beautiful. It looks out of place but that makes it even more
interesting to look at!
What
is a city without pigeons? Yup, they are
everywhere.
Enjoy
your weekend! We are expecting rain but that is ok because Jim and I are
celebrating our 2 year anniversary! Our first date was October 2, 2010. It has
been a wonderful 2 years and we will be happy just staying in watching movies,
cooking, enjoying wine and great conversation.
Dates do not get better than that. I couldn't ask for a better man!!! J ~Val
