West Columbia Riverwalk

For the first time, Jim and I walked this start of the Three Rivers Greenway in West Columbia, SC.

A pathway snakes down to the river from the parking lot.

Here is a peaceful spot for a picnic lunch while listening to the water flowing down the Congaree.
Being an end (or beginning), it is quiet from pedestrian traffic.
The trail itself is beautiful.
Geese butts are sticking up here and there.

The fly fishers are out.
It is well shaded mostly by trees but also with a little manmade help.
There are wild flowers when you pay attention.
Unexpected artwork.
Overall a great place to walk fast or take a leisurely stroll.
We will definitely be back to walk this section.

I hope you enjoyed our stroll!

If you go, parking for this portion is at the end of Moffatt Street in West Columbia.

Thank you for stopping by. ~Val
