Just a Thought Journals and an Amethyst Necklace

Here is my latest necklace made up of rough cut amethyst chips with natural lilac stone in between. Pretty with a bit of drama! Available at Etsy.

My latest purchase is from Just a Thought Journals on Etsy. The inspirational quote by Ernest Hemingway reads "Live the full life of the mind, exhilarated by new ideas, intoxicated by the romance of the unusual." 
Yes I am still wearing reading glasses. This is apparently a permanent thing post lasik surgery. I have to laugh at this since I am not yet 40 although I will be in 6 months. But I can't complain since I am really enjoying my new vision!  And yes, I still have 1 pupil larger than the other. It may go back to normal.....eventually. It is certainly taking its sweet old time. Anyway, I digress!
Inside is a planner perfect for my needs. There is plenty of space for each day to write what I want to accomplish! There are also 2 page monthly calendars inside along with blank pages for journaling. Although I am very organized I can always improve and plan to do so by keeping up with tasks every day. This should keep me focused to accomplish my many goals!

Each one has a heavy duty chipboard front and back cover for durability. The ring binding makes for easy opening and closing. I also love that it lies flat on the desk.

    Now I don't know which I like more, the turquoise or the amethyst! I do love the shape of the chips. I can already envision whomever wears this getting plenty of compliments.

    And journals are wonderful! I always have one of those on hand for my never-ending lists. Sadly, when I run out of a journal, I can't think. LOL The ones from this shop are great!

    Hi Val, love your beautiful necklace, done of course in my favorite color. Everything in the world is better in purple. LOL
