Just a Thought Journals and an Amethyst Necklace

Amethyst Necklace
Here is my latest necklace made up of rough cut amethyst chips with natural lilac stone in between. Pretty with a bit of drama! Available at Etsy.

Just a Thought Journals
My latest purchase is from Just a Thought Journals on Etsy. The inspirational quote by Ernest Hemingway reads "Live the full life of the mind, exhilarated by new ideas, intoxicated by the romance of the unusual."
Yes I am still wearing reading glasses. This is apparently a permanent thing post lasik surgery. I have to laugh at this since I am not yet 40 although I will be in 6 months. But I can't complain since I am really enjoying my new vision!  And yes, I still have 1 pupil larger than the other. It may go back to normal.....eventually. It is certainly taking its sweet old time. Anyway, I digress!
Inside is a planner perfect for my needs. There is plenty of space for each day to write what I want to accomplish! There are also 2 page monthly calendars inside along with blank pages for journaling. Although I am very organized I can always improve and plan to do so by keeping up with tasks every day. This should keep me focused to accomplish my many goals!

All the journals and planners have great quotes including funny:

Those to encourage dreams:

Those to encourage change:

Those to encourage faith:
Each one has a heavy duty chipboard front and back cover for durability. The ring binding makes for easy opening and closing. I also love that it lies flat on the desk.

If you are in need of a new inspirational journal or planner for the upcoming year, check out Just a Thought Journals!

Thank you for stopping by! Have a beautiful week. ~Val

This Week's Blog Post

Amethyst Necklace
I love this necklace. It has a dramatic feel!

The purple chips are rough cut amethyst. I accented with black onyx beads and a black obsidian focal piece. This is available at Etsy.

Bali Findings
I received a shipment from Bali, Indonesia this week. I always love their ear wires

And clasps! Available at Miss Val’s Creations.

Valentine’s Day
I received these super fun chocolate mustaches and really large lips on a stick from the Naughty Bake Shoppe on Etsy.

They are for my niece and nephew. Yes I bought them candy for a naughty adult shop!!!

These sweet cards are from Art of Heart and Hand on Etsy.

I scored this One Direction card from Great Paper on Etsy.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine’s Day and a great week ahead! My area will be cleaning up from Blizzard Nemo!!! It is looking like 30 inches of snow where I live once it finally stops snowing. I am VERY THANKFUL to still have power!!! Stay safe and warm if you are also stuck with this storm. ~Val
