Here are some random tree trunks from nature walks.
Nature's bold designs.
The next two are really wild and crazy!
I am not exactly sure if these are roots or branches growing down into the ground. The one thing I do know is that they are striking!
Many tree roots tend to be whimsical, fantasy like or scary when you take a moment to look at them.
I hope you enjoyed these nature photos!
Thank you for stopping by! ~Val
I think that tree architecture could make for a lifetime study - and an interesting one at that.
ReplyDeleteI could not agree more!
DeleteThe first root is the one that impressed me the most, but all these trees roots are unique and beautiful in their own way. I do agree that three roots can look so whimsical and/or scarf...when we take the time to look at them, we can see a lot. That is why it is important to keep one's eyes open.
ReplyDeleteThey really are so beautiful!
DeleteI remember that I was especially fascinated by them when I was a kid!
DeleteMe too. In recent years I find myself going back to enjoying those simple things I loved as a kid.

DeleteLove these pictures Val! I have a habit of taking pictures of tree roots and unusual shaped trees. We have one on the hiking trails near us that looks like a bear at a certain angle. Mother Nature has a way of creating beautiful sights for us to enjoy and photograph.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sheryl. It is awesome when the roots form shapes to us!
DeleteI LOVE this round up of cool roots. I've often found myself drawn to spotting them too! These are definitely striking.
