Fences and Gates

There are many fences, gates and posts that capture my attention when out and about. Here is a sampling.
As you can see, the cemeteries have some of the more intricate pieces.
I hope you enjoyed these beauties.

Thank you for stopping by!  ~Val

  3. We are much alike in some things. I enjoy 'fence' watching myself. I'm always interested in fences, doors, gates, pathways and such things. I especially like the older fences. It was lovely seeing all the different gates and fences you captured.

    1. They are wonderful elements to enjoy. The older ones do tend to have more character. I love when when they are aged with rust!

    2. yes, the rust makes them look somehow whimsical.

  4. I definitely did enjoy them - you have a lot of beauties in your area. Which reminded me of a gate I see whenever we go to Lake Arrowhead - I'll have to post it sometime. It's very unique.
