The Old Point

The Old Point is a marvelous setting in downtown Beaufort, SC.

This neighborhood is rich with beautiful Antebellum homes including Victorian and Queen Anne styles.

Charming staircases.

Wrap around porches.

Enticing driveways.

Views of the picturesque marshlands.

Oodles of charm.

Great big oaks with Spanish moss dangling.

Darling yards.

We did see a tour bus over here but I think the only way to really experience The Old Point is to meander the streets.

This really is one of my fantasy neighborhoods, being in walking distance to great eateries, bars, the waterfront and so much more.

We enjoyed chatting with a gentleman who lives at the end of this scenic street, in this grand home.

The people are wonderful in Beaufort!
