Fundraiser Creation!


I was approached by one of my relatives who is on the Board with the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless about donating for an upcoming fundraiser.


This focal piece is a huge unique rough chunk of pink opal that is mainly dark gray in color. I paired it with rose quartz, black obsidian and gunmetal (to complement the gray on the pendant). The winner is going to have a one of a kind creation sure to receive many compliments (I hope)!


The fundraiser is called "What's in the Bag" and is a handbag/accessories theme! I'm sure the female attendees will love this fundraiser!

The weather is gorgeous this weekend! I have all sort of lilies, tulips and irises working their way out of the ground! So far crocuses are all that is blooming:

These are really sweet...petite sized. I do have some leaf clean up to take care of though!!!

I have been fortunate enough to have travelled a bit in my 20s so I have seen some great places. Still on my list are:
~ The Grand Canyon (I want to ride a donkey down like the Bradys)
~ Barcelona (my friend attempted to visit here twice, but the first time the cruise line we were booked on folded and the second time was the day of the bombing in Madrid...ended up in London that time)
~ Africa for a safari
~ Hawaii

6. Four things you did yesterday:
~ chores
~ went to the gym
~ had dinner with my friends
~ discovered a local wine bar with my man

7. Four things you are looking forward to:
~ going to sleep tonight after a perfect weekend
~ my next vacation (although not planned)
~ looking forward to the day when I am sharing a house with more than 2 cats...human interaction would be nice in the household
~ retirement

8. Four things you love about Winter:
I really dislike winter so this is difficult to answer!
~ homemade soups
~ sweaters
~ snow days (rare for an adult but I did have a couple this year!)
~ being near a fireplace

    Spring is definitely here, thank goodness. So, you don't have to be optimistic about winter for another whole year. :)
