Adorable Greeting Cards and New Jewelry!

My niece and nephew’s combined birthday party is coming up. She is turning 5 and decided on a princess theme party. He is turning 7 and chose a Harry Potter theme. So I was on a mission to find a seller who made cards for both! I came across Blowfish Bizaar on Etsy.

How cute is this princess card? It is not just a card….it opens into an easel and has a little pad of paper inside!!! She is going to love it! Perfect for practicing writing her name!

I am also in love this with Harry Potter card! How cute are Harry, Hermione and Ron?!?!?
Check out this shop for adorable card sets like this one! I am a sucker for sarcasm.

Also in this whimsical shop are amigurimi characters and clay figures like this Yoda! Be sure to check it out here!

New this week is this fun set! The rose is black obsidian. I love to mix gemstones and a variety of colors are represented here.

Since the necklace is a little on the loud side I just used 1 bead for the earrings so they are understated. This set is available here!

This week I was excited to see these new blooms! My parents gave me 2 of these hibiscus plants last fall from their garden which we planted then. I have been curious about the blooms and now I know what they look like!

The flower is gorgeous and huge! The buds are funky, cool too!

Thank you for reading! Have a wonderful beginning of August! ~Val

  4. Hi Val, regarding Newport, I'm sure you and Jim would love it. We toured 7 mansions in 3 days. The houses are filled with lots of art, stories and beauty of the victorian age. They are fabulous.

Lots of great places to eat there as well and the marina is lovely to walk around. Also, they have a wonderful and quite large shopping area.

  15. Awww, shucks Val! I wish I had known you were in the market for a greeting card. I had my friend and artist, Barb over at Bronson Hill Arts, design a custom princess card/tag for my neices birthday gift. It turned out beautiful. Well, keep her in mind for next time. :-)

I love the colors of the beads used with the black rose pendant...very nice! And your macro flower pics, feels like you can almost touch and smell them!
