We had a decent snow storm! This one was heavy and sticky. The type that looks beautiful but is horrible to shovel. It seemed like 8 inches which isn't much here.
It was a very grey day.
I love this baby tree covered in snow.
It is marvelous being surrounded by trees in this weather.
Later the sun started to show its golden hues!
All the photos were taken from the comfort of home through the window with my cheap camera.
After the golden hues, we saw pink.
We have been quite busy as you can imagine so I haven't put much effort into my blog. Our first real snow fall in our new home was an excuse for a post!
Wishing you a fabulous weekend and week ahead! Thank you for stopping by! ~Val

Gorgeous photos Val. I love the sun reflecting off the snow in the branches. Just think of how much good exercise all that shovelling is for you :D
ReplyDeletejust beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe trees look stunning with that golden light. Just like Duni, we are having a good winter. I am hoping for an early spring, but I am a bit afraid that we will have some snow before that will happen. Keeping my fingers crossed though!

Besos, desde EspaƱa, Marcela♥
I get excited when it snows, too. We live in Chicago so we get some every year, but I never get tired of it. It's the only time I like all of the trees in our yard! Haha.
ReplyDeleteWow...amazing, Thanks for the cold breeze, I miss it here is Singapore, though it didn't snow much in Dallas, but there was quite a bit of unusual snow when were were there in 2011! It was the first time I had seen SNOW!!! I still can't forget the excitement, almost that of a child, we made snow angels, ate a few flurries and caught snowflakes!! It was so cold we had to go out! Thanks for bringing those memories back!! Btw love the Golden tree!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I would love to see trees covered in snow. I hope I can make a pilgrimage from Florida to a snowy place soon!
